International Sitting Volleyball Tournament for Men was held in the city of
Brovary (Kyiv region, Ukraine)
on 14-16 August 2009

The Tournament was held under the patronage of the National Paralympic Committee of Ukraine.
In this exciting competition took part teams from 5 countries, namely from:
Iran
Germany
Ukraine -1 (national team)
Russia
Ukraine-2 (reserve team)
Teams played according to the following schedule:
14 August 2009
10.30 Iran vs. Ukraine 1
12.00 Ukraine 2 vs. Russia
16:00 Ukraine 1 vs. Ukraine 2
17.30 Iran vs. Germany
15 August 2009
10.00 Ukraine 2 vs. Germany
11.30 Russia vs. Ukraine 1
15.30 Germany vs. Russia
17.00 Iran vs. Ukraine 2
16 August 2009
10.00 Russia vs. Iran
11.30 Ukraine 1 vs. Germany
The Tournament was served by the referees:
1. Viktor Feldshteyn - international category referee
2. Sergiy Ovcharuk - national category referee
3. Igor Petrus - national category referee
After all the matches the final ranking of the teams stated as follows:
1. Iran
2. Russia
3. Ukraine 1
4. Germany
5. Ukraine 2
This Tournament was highly appreciated by all the participants. It was not only important step in the preparation for the European Championship in Sitting Volleyball but also a bright holiday of sport after which everyone went home with a desire to come back to Ukraine once again.
