A. Each country is invited to take part in the Continental Cup for Women.

B. ECVD Sport Department will nominate maximum 12 teams to participate in the Championship.

C. The procedure for nomination of the teams in the Championship is like this:
a. The National team from the organising country.
b. The National Team from ECVD zone from the country number 1 to 7 in Euro Cup 2009.
If already nominated under a), the next team(s).
c. The National Team from ECVD zone not participating in Euro Cup 2009.
d. The National Team from other WOVD zones from the country number 1 to n in World Championship 2006.
e. If not possible then by drawing of lots.

D. PARTICIPATING TEAMS
a. The Tournament is open to the National team of those National Federations that is affiliated to the ECVD and respects their obligations and financial responsibilities with regard to the ECVD and their Confederations and that have sent to ECVD the Official Entry for the Championship according to the ECVD Regulations.
b. The players must be have the nationality of the country they represent, or been living for at least 12 month in the country they represent without representing any other country for at least 12 month (up to the opening day of the competition), justifying it by means of a passport or other authentic document..
c. Once the legal documents have been checked and accepted by ECVD Technical Delegate, the Organiser will issue the ID cards valid for the Tournament.
d. National teams from other than the European Zone may enter and/or be invited to enter, but must also comply with sections "a" to "c" above.

E. The medical classification for each team must be like this:
a. 2 players must be classified as disabled.
b. 2 players must be classified as minimal disabled or disabled.
c. 2 players must be classified as able or minimal disabled or disabled
Same applies on the bench.

re: Continental Cup Women 2010

Dear Madams/Sirs,

On behalf of the ECVD I would like to inform you as follows.

The ECVD is very happy that the National Paralympic Committee in Ukraine is willing to organise the Continental Cup 2010 for women's National teams.
The tournament will be organised from 8th of May until the 16 of May 2010 in Evpatoriya, Ukraine. The Organiser will inform you about the date of arrival and departure.

Preliminary entry form

­ Included you will find the official invitation.
­ Included you will find the preliminary entry form. This form needs to be sent back by fax
(nr. +31.317.415.220) as well as by mail/E-mail to the secretary general of the ECVD
before the 1st of January 2010
­ If an answer is received up to 30 days after the deadline, the entry fee will be increased by 50%; if after 30 days the team will automatically be put at the bottom of the list in addition to the increased entry fee. ECVD Sport Department reserves the right to start the nomination process the day after the deadline.
­ Federations that cancel their participation in Continental Cup Women 2010 two months or later before the start of the tournament will be punished by paying € 260 to the ECVD.
­ All the ECVD member nations will receive this invitation for the Continental Cup Women 2010
­ All the countries, which want to take part into the European Championship, have to send back the answer sheet. Also when nations cannot take part they have to send back the entry form.
Costs.
Each participating team is responsible for:
 Your own travel costs
 Board and lodging fee of a maximum of € 400 per participating team member, to be paid to the Organiser
 Team Participation Fee of € 300 per team to be paid to the Organiser
 Security fee of € 600 per team, to be paid to the Organiser
 Registration fee of € 650 per team, to be paid to the ECVD
 Referee travel fee of € 450 per team, to be paid to the ECVD

N.B.: Only those federations that have paid their WOVD membership fee can take part.

All countries will receive the list of nominated teams from the ECVD Sport Department before the 15th of March 2010. The organiser will send then the necessary information to all participating teams.

For your information: the European Referee Commission (ERC) will appoint the referees and ECVD will pay their travel cost.

The Organiser can offer a minimal "Board and Lodging" package (on daily basis) for guests. You'll receive information from the Organiser.
