ECVD Championships and Cups in the following years

| Dear Madame/Sir,
ECVD board has during the last year worked on our Championship program for the next years. The board has decided that Euro Cup will from 2010 be for club teams only.
ECVD will organize Continental Cup for national teams and Euro Cup women for national teams will not be organized again.
Considering the WOVD Championship program we have decided to organize the events in Europe on following principles:
• European Championship in sitting volleyball for men and women
every second year in the odd years
• European Championship junior in sitting volleyball for men every second year
in the even years
• Continental Cup in sitting volleyball for men every year
• Continental Cup in sitting volleyball for women every year
• Euro Cup in sitting volleyball for men every year
• Euro League in sitting volleyball for men every year.
This program is expansive and is only possible with good cooperation with our member countries. ECVD will need 3 local organizers every year.
The ECVD board members have in many occasions been in contact with potential organizers of events in the coming years.
ECVD like you to consider hosting one or two events in the next 4-6 years period. Below is a list of the events we observed or experienced, that you have special interest in organizing:
• European Championship in sitting volleyball for men and women in 2011 or 2013.
• European Championship junior in sitting volleyball for men in 2010 or 2012
• Euro Cup in sitting volleyball for men in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013
If you or one of your clubs/partners are interested in any ECVD events in the coming years, we like you to contact ECVD and we will start the process to prepare the bid and contract.
The first award of Championships in the period of 2011 - 2013 will be in the ECVD board meeting in February 2010.
