re: European Junior Championships 2010
Dear Madams/Sirs,
On behalf of the ECVD I would like to inform you as follows.
The ECVD is very happy that the National Paralympic Committee in Ukraine is willing to organise the European Junior Championships 2010. The tournament will be organised from the 21st until the 25th September, 2010 in Evpatoriya, Ukraine. The Organiser will inform you about the date of arrival and departure.
Preliminary entry form Included you will find the official invitation. Included you will find the preliminary entry form. This form needs to be sent back by fax (nr. +31.317.415.220) as well as by mail/E-mail to the secretary general of the ECVD before the 31st July 2010. If an answer is received up to 30 days after the deadline, the entry fee will be increased by 50%; if after 30 days the team will automatically be put at the bottom of the list in addition to the increased entry fee. ECVD Sport Department reserves the right to start the nomination process the day after the deadline. Federations that cancel their participation in European Junior Championships 2010 4 weeks or later before the start of the tournament will be punished by paying € 260 to the ECVD. In addition, if it can be shown that the LOC will incur costs that it cannot defray or absorb, then the Federation may be liable for all costs incurred on their behalf by the LOC, up to the total fees for Board and Lodging and the Entry Fee. All the ECVD member nations will receive this invitation for the European Junior Championships 2010 All the countries, which want to take part into the European Junior Championships have to send back the answer sheet. Also when nations cannot take part they have to send back the entry form. Entry is also open to WOVD members outside of the ECVD zone.
Costs. Each participating team is responsible for: Your own travel costs Board and lodging fee of a maximum of € 400 per participating team member, to be paid to the Organiser Team Participation Fee of € 300 per team to be paid to the Organiser Security fee of € 600 per team, to be paid to the Organiser Registration fee of € 650 per team, to be paid to the ECVD Referee fee of € 450 per team, to be paid to the ECVD
N.B.: Only those federations that have paid their WOVD membership fee can take part.
All countries will receive the list of nominated teams from the ECVD Sport Department before 15th August 2010. The organiser will send then the necessary information to all participating teams.
For your information: the European Referee Commission (ERC) will appoint the referees and ECVD will pay their travel cost.
The Organiser can offer a minimal "Board and Lodging" package (on daily basis) for guests. You'll receive information from the Organiser.
