Holyoke becomes National Champion Sitting Volleyball The Netherlands

On Saturday May 8th, Holyoke from Belfeld has won the play-offs for the Dutch National Sitting Volleyball Championships. After having already finished first place in the national league, Holyoke beat Volleer from Leersum in the final 3-0 (25-23, 25-15, 25-21). Holyoke reached the final by beating Twente '05 from Enschede 3-1 in the semi-final. In the other semi-final Volleer took a victory over Mikro-Electro from Roosendaal (3-2). The season 2009-2010 proved to be the best for the team from the south of the Netherlands since 1988, when Holyoke won the national championships for the last time. In the regular league they did not loose a match.
