| APPENDIX to WOVD Sitting & Standing Rules
VOLLEYBALL SPORTS MATERIALS, TEAM EQUIPMENT & ADVERTISING GUIDELINES
Applicable from 1st July 2010
(Approved by WOVD Management Committee - June 2010)
------------------------------------------------------------------ INTRODUCTION
WOVD wishes to encourage Partnerships between teams and Sponsors in order to support the further development of our sport, its competitions and the opportunities for participants.
The WOVD Management Committee have produced this document on behalf of the BoA as a response to numerous requests for guidelines, in order to establish clear principles and ensure uniformity in the quality and size of advertising material used. It is the Board's intention to encourage Sponsor advertising within the general guidelines and not to implement a bureaucratic system requiring officials to measure the size of all adverts, etc. The cooperation of teams in observing the guidelines will help the Board achieve this aim.
The WOVD Management Committee retains the right to make changes should any major problems or difficulties occur.
IMPORTANT: Other specific conditions apply for the Paralympic Games as per the Paralympic Charter.
Sections in this document include:
1. Homologated Sports Materials 2. Standards for Team Equipment 3. Advertising Guidelines
